I saw your bus the very first time I went to BAP and loved looking through the build photos of it.

Well at least it is the corner and they make all the replacement pannels.
The front nose would be WAY harder in my opinion to repair.

Damn, that's sucks. The other guys insurance wasn't state farm by any chance was it? I ask because when some one rear ended my 72 super, I hd gotten some quotes on the damage. And when they came out she got some info and went to her car and came to me and asked if I had gotten quotes as their computer didn't go back far enough for an estimate. So she went by my quote (of $700) an came back with an $800 amount, $100 more, lol. That was sweet. She said it was because of the way their computer figures stuff out. Hopefully things will go as smoothly for you. I would definitely get quotes on labor and ALL the parts needed to fix it right.

Covered up the EMPI embossing on some EMPI hubcaps I got when I purchased some wheels for my 66. I'm bad at before and after shots, so the first shot is the inside of the hubcap

Finally got the tool to change the oil fill tube, changed my bowden tube, installed a bamboo package tray, put in speaker kick panels and changed the front turn signals to '67 style. I also got and installed the outer seals on my pop-out windows. I will put those in someday.

Drove it home from New Orleans. The heat was just insane. And so was weather that we hit right after we picked up Laura's truck in Covington.

Checked the flasher box in the Bus so dash flashers will work. Took the box apart and cleaned the contacts on both relays but still nothing. Hooked the dash flasher bulbs to the common flasher coming out. Works great now. No more riding 5 miles then realizing that my blinker is on. Embarassed

Also went to the Tag office and the printers went down just after my order needed to print, so stood in line 35 min then that bitch went to lunch and the lady that took her place asked what I was waiting on and all I needed were the stickers. "Well we can mail those to you......" Why didn't the bitch that helped me tell me that and I'd been out of here. F....ing county workers!

The Bus is sporting a '70 tag now!
