Started tearing down the front end on the bus. The floor and frame areas of the undercarriage of this thing are pretty clean, but man, the beam and spindles are just covered in atleast two inches of grimy dirt. Took 30 minutes of cleaning just to start finding the bolts I needed to get to Shocked

Got the drivers side spindle removed, and got the backing plate off the passenger side. I'll get that spindle pulled Friday morning so I can get them flipped. Emptied out the rest of my bank account at CIP1 and WW. Crying or Very sad

Got a ton of brake parts, door seals, and a gas tank coming my way!

Finished getting the other spindle off the bus. Now I just need to clean some of the 40 year old grime off them before I get them flipped. I'd hate to get Bryce's fingernails all dirty. Laughing

I got these pictures of my rebuilt distributor from Glenn Ring. He rebuilt it the same day he received it and shipped it back the next day. Great service!

After our journey to Providence Canyon O.B.'s back tires are done......Ate up brand new tires in two and half months....guess its time to loosen the axles and fix the rear wheel alignment. Just purchased four new tires two for O.B. and two to replace the dry rotted ones on the rear of the bay.

Put the door guts in all the doors of the bus. They all shut, latch and lock as they should! Also checked all the door handles, and the front and cargo door codes are all the same, so now I just need to get a key cut.

Yeah, that's who I'll get it from. He found me a locking T-handle and did a couple of keys for my bug a while back.

I have several 34PICT3 carbs, found one with a tight shaft,took it apart, soaking it for 2 days in Gunk carb cleaner. Took it out cleaned it more, blew out all the passages I could get to and put it together. Put it on the Super today and tried it out. Had to change out the air solenoid valve it is bad but after changing that it ran perfect. Drove it and it performed perfect, I fell like opening a carb business! Time to clean my other 2 and see whats clogged them up!
