What did you do to your volkswagen today?

Got my mirrors mounted and installed new headlight bulbs and replaced the rear window rubber. Also, broke the used antenna I picked up for my bus. I was attempting to bend it around my safari windshield. Mounted the base anyway so it would not leak water.

Mounted some fan housing plugs on the SP2 now that the heater boxes are gone.

Been driving the ghia vert this weekend, I love this car.

Mike hooked me up with one of his soon to be famous passenger walk through frames. Mine was shot. Now I have a pair of seats in the bus that match.

replaced my shifter bushing today. had to walk away a few times   and do a little fishing but its done. shifter still feels sloppy to me but it shifts. and its a little tighter

With the state park being closed, that's probably one of the most outstanding tour attractions there right now.

Yeah, the strip wasn't very crowded since the smoky mtn park stuff was closed.   This morning I checked the oil level and we drove the bus to PCB for camping at  St Andrews State Park!  

Our GPS took us through Gatlinburg by mistake. There was no traffic at all, on a Friday night!

I've spent most of the morning and afternoon adjusting and fine tuning the carb.

Shortend my headlight buckets, painted my fuchs, drove her around the yard.

replaced my turn signal seals put new air filter in (k&n) and replaced my heater fresh air hoses . got my front inspection cover in the mail along with seal so i put it back on ( yay no more cold draft coming from my E brake handle boot) going to do a radio install soon put a new gasket on my (oel) cap  replaced my fresh air box drain tube. i think that is all, well i drove it lik 100 miles or so  

Drove the Ghia to Church yesterday, not really top down weather, but I just like the feel of an aircooled.

Put a new heater cable in, cleaned the shift rod, put a new shift rod bushing in, then put the shift rod in. Still need to put the cover on. Put my rebuilt Hurst shifter in and fixed my tranny problem (wouldn't go into 4th gear smoothly). Chassis is almost complete on the 63.

Got this cool tag frame to mount on the bus from one of the Mechanics who worked there in the 60's! Cleaned it a little as it had sat on his since 1979.

I put some anti-fog on the windows of mine today to try and keep the windows from fogging up when it gets colder outside. Hopefully it works pretty well.

That's really cool!

Still driving it everywhere. Although the mornings when it is 30 and below are really fun with the fact that I have no heat.

I need more heat too!

I tried one of those $5 plug in defrosters from Walmart, but it didn't work that well.

This looks like a good one but it needs more amps than my generator can deliver.
