What did you do to your volkswagen today?

Put all new fuel lines on the Thing.

Worked tonight on replacing the front nose piece on thing. It is soooo nice to see some progress after all this time. KC

Got all my parts together for our club workday next weekend! Thanks again BKR for the beam!

I went down to Gary's ( Bug Eyed) and bought new ball joints and tie rod ends for my latest endless money pit. hehe slimjim

Put seat belt mount plate things on the chassis.

Well, it started twice. The second time was on my way to work, you figure out the rest.
I picked up a Mexican rebuilt starter from O'reilye's for 50 bucks, hey it's got a lifetime warranty

I didn't do it to my vw today but I will be able to in a year, Drive it! Got my learner's permit today so I can better promote bugs everywhere by driving one.

I pulled into and parked in the parking lot at work, and reached over to close the passenger side vent window, only to have the handle come off the window in my hand. Thankfully I have a spare that I can replace it with in the morning.

Did a complete detail in and out of the car. Armor all the vinyl seats and dashboard and it looks brand new! Also bought this "invisible glass" cleaner. My windshield is so clean it looks like I don't even have one!  

I love that invisible glass. I have a can that expired 10 years ago that I use to clean speedometer glass. It makes it look new! Highly recommend.

Replaced both the vent window and door handles. Glad it was simple stuff.

lowered my 56 drag bug today need to get lowered beam in next I have one then put a motor back in it

Found out that my generator is shot.  

Bright side, now I have the perfect excuse to upgrade to an alternator over the weekend.

Removed everything. Resealing transmission and replacing shift bushing. Reinstalling a Spare Engine till My Single Port is Finished.

Is that oil on the tranny?
