Thanks, I'll try that while I'm working on it tomorrow.

Floor pans, e-brake and cables, and wheels are off. Made a radio bracket and two vent slider holder oners. Painted the holder oners and the one vent slider I have (passengers side). These go on the heater channels over the vents up front.
Re: What did you do to your volkswagen today?
Got a lot done on my rail. Got the motor in, exhaust in, turbo mounted, aluminum gas tank in, electric fuel pump in, oil lines for turbo and oil filter run, rear tail and brake lights, tag light, and a bunch of wiring done. Used a waterproof universal painless wiring harness from summit. Only like $80. Very simple and easy to install.
Just got a bunch of odds and ends left to do and I should be ready for BAP B)

Plugging along and burning hours like crazy on this thing. Have to shoot the dash again but the inside is done. Body is ready for paint and my buddy is doing the blocking on the doors so it may all be ready to shoot pretty soon. I was sick of flash rust on the floor while wetsanding so I said enough of that.

I finally got my throwout bearing centered
I tried to install an EMPI crossarm for the throw out bearing and found out why EMPI is crap.
got one from Clyde and it works like a charm.

Bought bolts to put the bumpers back together, painted the front bumper mounts, replaced the drivers window sash that was broken and greased the window regulator while i had it out on the snow cone bus.

Moved the fuel filter from the engine bay to next to the trans. Also cleaned up and installed my oil bath air cleaner.

Yeah, it has been a great car, and I've put a good bit of work in it. But, I need to paint it so it can have that shine to it. Then, it should be finished.
