Replaced axle boots and drained and re-filled the transaxle in Java. Took forever and it was freezing....
Re: What did you do to your volkswagen today?
OK, got the HiD lights installed:
Looks alot better than the pic. I took it for a test drive and the light so much better. No one flashed at me, so I think they are probably aimed pretty good. It sure is nice to see more than 8 feet ahead now!!
Oh, and here is a pic of the power outlets James installed last night:

Same place as Gary, its called ipremiertek, 1305 Lakes Parkway Suite 107. They are in Lawrenceville just between Riverside Drive and Sugarloaf Pkwy. Their kit is very economical (65.00) and is pretty much plug & play if you already have the H4 conversion. Their # is 678-407-0262, Raymond is the guy who runs the place and can set you up. They have all kinds of stuff. I am going to get with him after I get back from Winterjam and see if we can come up with some drop in LED dash lighting.

Very nice!! Ok, I will see what he comes up with and see how it stacks up against them. It would be nice to find a local source where you can just stop by and pick up vs shipping.

The guy in Lawrenceville doesn't have them in 7" like we need. I ordered mine from CIP1:

Yeah they def. help at night. The housings from CIP1 are nice. Glass, not plastic like some are. They even come with H4 bulbs, so you have some backups in case you have a HiD go out.

Re: What did you do to your volkswagen today?
Well I took the rear bumper off, rear fenders off, and rear vents out. Ground down the paint around those areas and readied the body for welding up all the trim holes and antenna. My wider fenders came in from Creative Car Craft as well. Working hard to get ready for Bug-A-Paluza

and don't forget the Hooters cruise in on March27. Looking forward to see everyone come on out and enjoy the dubs.
