a few more items came in the mail!
fluted headlight lens
tar board for engine bay
windshield trim
clips and boots
engine bay seals
I also picked up the circlip i needed! (thanks again Pete!) so I can get the shift rod bushing installed.
got the headlights finished!
and picked up another box of fun!

I got the shift rod bushing installed tonight! it wasn't as hard as i expected!
sanded the primer down for blocking
got the driver door to fit better, but also created some more bodywork to finish before its painted!

are those copper fuel lines? doesn't gas eat copper? when i had my turbo motor, i had used copper lines for the boost guage. about a week later the guage stopped working, and it started running crappy. the fuel had eaten approx 1 inch of the copper line away completely. Is there some sort of coating inside the line or something, or am i missing something?

Are you shooting single stage or base coat/ clear coat? Looks pretty shiny!

Man that is an awesome color. I have always loved that color. I have a file in my computer of different VW's for there colors. This color is in my favorite list.
