Yeah it has the typical rusty areas...windshield, outer front floor, battery tray, rocker behind slider all need attention.....its not real nice but still a good buy and good enough to put back on the road.....

Do you know where the junkyard is? There was a split pop-top at Dennis and Judy's Towing in Athens but it's gone now. Probably crushed Sad

Finally put the coil overs on the cabrio....also changed the oil and picked up some rear wheel bearings that i will be changin out tomorrow...all in prep for taking it to Myrtle Beach

I had to do all the panels so it took all day to cut and sand all the panels to take the Shellac. I followed a users advice on the samba to mix up a 4 part stain and it turned out too red so I spent time messing with that and finally reached out to Kale and he had the spot on color.
Just the headliner I would guess would only take a few hours counting dry time to sand.

i stopped by maybe 2 months ago offer to buy them they just kept telling me that the owner was saving them to restore they said ppl stop alll the time and ask about it! try it though never know !
