pulled it out of a time capsule it has been put in storage since 89 was built in 86 all the graphics are hand painted i hope don hall does not have a flash back well just finished the car he is coming to get it to night so keep your eyes open if your on the east side

It's the neon and the Andre Agassi stripe on the side that I love! You just need a graduation tassle that has 1988 on it to hang from the rear view mirror. That rocks. I had Purple Neon under a Turqouise bug once (hangs head in shame)

Almost finished the brakes on Lara's square. Just need to rerun the lines from the res to the MC and bleed it out. Drilled and tapped the glass door knob she wanted to use on the shifter. Broke down one of the pop-out windows and replaced the inner seal after drilling the screws out. Tried installing the outer seal and didn't get too far before I gave up. Removed the old crusty door seals in prep for the new ones. It was a good day of tinkering for me.

On Monday my ex-wife's father pasted and I was on my way to the Funeral on Friday when O'Bugga just cut off. I knew that it would be some sort of electrical issue. Well on the side of hwy 16 with peeps passing at 60 plus it's not a good place to be but in a suit and tie I worked on him and found that the plastic cam follower had broken on the points thus no open/close of points. I have a new set in my first aid kit, installed and set gap and I was on my way. Continued down to Yatesville, checked the points gap again after the service and adjusted it a bit then drove home. Never fails that when I need to be some where on time crap like this happens! Just call me Bob Murphy!

Busted another new brake line on bella (the same side that busted before) argh. This time it was not a sudden stop though. Gonna have to zip tie them out of the way?

wire wheeled the floor boards of the square. Gonna hit it with Masterseries this week.

Lots more wet-sanding after work on the 72. a lot more of the OG blue is starting to come back. looks really good, and i'm diggin the flat color, instead of shiny.

I'd bet that if you get it up to 88 mph and can get some serious juice to the Flux Capacitor...Back to the Future!

Been awhile since I posted here.... Got a real job and between working it and the shop have bought a new one for the fleet, 68 Baja, pretty clean car. Drove it to work a few times and have one helluva good start on a dirt track in the field next to the shop!! Nothing like drifting in an old bug!
Got the 88 running and driving then have a buyer for it, sold the new baja yesterday...well sort of, have a tennative deal for a few months down the road from a friend so it will leave then. packed up White trash to go camping, and did a bit on the 74 Westy...
Good week, worked 50 hours and went from one daily to 3!
The shop is getting crowded, but loving it!!!!!!!
