Cherokee VW Show August 10th and 11th

It wasn't a very big show, but the raffles and the awards are all cash. There were probably 75-80 cars last year. The swap meet was ok but not huge.

I think we are going to drive the bug or bus so we will be going the usual way. Probably take us an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes to get to Bouldercrest where we usually meet. I think it is a Chevron or something. There is a couple of stations to the right after you exit.

I remember that exit. Sounds good. So we'll try to be there about 9:15. Sound ok?

Digger, looks like it'll take an additional 50 or so minutes to get to 985/Hwy20, so we'd likely be there sometime between 10:05 and 10:15. Give or take an hour or so depending on traffic

Washing Moto tonite and load'n up!

I had already been up for 30 minutes. Same here, wash (even though it looks like we'll hit a little rain) and load tonight. See everybody in the morning. We're going to takeover the campground! I've been watching the olympics so I'm gonna be tearing up the playground, hope they have some monkey bars or rings.

Mentioned it briefly earlier (i think), but the airhead crew have talked about stopping at the Cupboard Cafe in Dillard for lunch. Everyone is welcome to join in with us. Or if anyone would rather keep on trucking straight to the campground, that 's cool too and we'll catch up with you at the campground.

Loaded up and ready to go. Huluwgn is dirty though due to rain.

Same here loaded up and ready but Moto is clean, inside and out.

Leon is not loaded up.......its not going to make it. Just burns too much oil. Time for a rebuild on the $25 engine.

Bus is all loaded up. It was raining here this afternoon so I couldn't give it a wash. Gonna get up early and wash it before we leave. See yall at the QT around 10:00!!

I will be making it to the show this weekend too. Just booked my site at the campground today. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Good to go all but the bikes, Load them up in the am and roll.

Bikes for sale if anybody needs one. We are bringing 6.

Awesome, glad you can make it. Bocephus is loaded up. Didn't get a full bath, but did clean the nose and windshields.

Got 20 1/4 pound polish sausages I am bringing for everyone to eat. We will be cooking them tomorrow evening and maybe lunch on Saturday. Also bringing some horseshoes to play with!

Sounds good. Ill prlly be up there around 6 and am staying at site 50 i booked one of the last two sites so if anyone else is planning on going they better call early in the morning.
