Cherokee VW Show August 10th and 11th

Pretty cool show. The show is actually just Saturday and it is kind of a long day but with a car registration you get a catered dinner and some live music. Last year was a Native American Blues Band. I can't remember how much money they gave away last year but it was like $2500. A $100 here and there throughout the day with some $500 giveaways at the end.

We are going for the weekend Friday thru Sunday. We are camping at Indian Creek Campground. It is a very nice and shady campground.

Are ya'll taking the animals? Doubt I can make it up Friday. School will be in for the first week and I know Pen will not want to go.

We are going to come to this and camp as well as long as Tara gets the days off from work.

Deb and I will be there. We will have some bikes for sale, Schwinn's and Schwinn style bikes. We can send you pics if your interested.

It wasn't a real big show last year but the parking lot is big so it was a little deceiving

Oh there is a car show, I'm going for the camping.

I like to be entertained by looking at VW's I haven't seen before. Amy and I are going, will depart Hampton about 2pm on fri.

HOV lane , Bus's and carpool, I qualify on both counts

I will be going and so is my family. Planning on camping out Friday and Saturday. I want be able to leave Atlanta till after 4:pm Friday. DiggerD and his family will be coming too. Has anyone reserved a campsite yet and if so which one.

Our group has cabin 16 and site 17

How many Buses will be allowed to park on site 17? Also the picture you posted at the top of this thread what site was that?

Website says "Sites limited to 8 people and 2 vehicles"

So according to that, they only allow 2 cars per site. Kelly called and they told her additional cars had to park at the office (which is really close to our sites).

I think Bryce had a creekside camping spot last year.

I saw that map this morning, I tried to find an areial photo but never could figure out exactly where it was located. Will be a fun weekend, looks like it will be cool in the evening.

We had site 10 last year. It had two levels of parking

Just reserved 1A. Only have the bus so anyone is welcome to camp with us and split cost.
