engine primed with fuel and oil pressures good, I am going to fire it tomorrow morning to wake the neighborhood for fathers day

ITS ALIVE!!!! thats what my face looked like when I test drove after breaking in the cam, loads of POWER out of this 2187! Just have to tune the carbs to perfection then should be road worthy, I did take it on a 2 mile trip but back fires when I let off the gas. TUNE TUNE TUNE.

78.8 forged counterweight crank, 94mm pistons with 120 weber can 44 idf real Italian webers 1 5/8 merged exhaust and a crap load of extra money

A quick vid, just doing a little tuning on the carbs, seems to be running healthy, just a little more jetting and toby should be a good daily driver...

couldnt help my self had to go test drive it just one more time just to be sure the engine is running tip top i almost dropped the cam then got bored with filming the ride

good to see Toby is alive and kicking, its gotta be a blast to drive!!!

It has always been a blast to drive, but now its rediculous... I think Im gonna drive the 50mile round trip to work tomorrow, even though the carbs aren't tune perfectly I should be ok.

Glad to see you got it together. Be sure that your brakes are in proper order. After Steve finnished my carbs he took it for a spin and found it very hard to stop at the end of his street. I got it home and found that the drivers side shoe was completly gone .

next on the list is disks, the drums should keep me in "break in engine" mode for a while. I noticed the difference in not wanting to stop to easily just test driving, I plan on driving to work tomorrow too hope to make it in one piece

Drove to work this morning, listning to whole 45 mins to the engine for unusual sounds, sprung a oil leak at my full flow line right above the header so I left a nice smoke screen on the way to work. Other than that Toby ran like a gutless blood hungry beast

found the leak, my steal braded lines were leaking so I made some new ones, no more leak tuning these carbs are a pain without the sync tool but once the tuning is done I will be driving everywere rain or shine still cruises like a dream at 3k rpms. Seems faster for some reason

In the garage when I was tuning the carbs, man that garage was messy

when I was leaving for work my throttle cable broke when I was backing the bug down the driveway, luckily. I am tired of crap breaking on this bug so I am selling it, for a billion dollars

Im going to pick a couple up on the way home from work today and ill be on my way, dammmit man I almost made it two weeks straight drippin oil to work and back. It was accually kind of weird driving the gli again today

I got the throttle cable done pretty quick and took my little one and some of her neighborhood friends on the test drive and stopped for some ice cream, I had a drumstick ... the cam was MIA for the event but it turned up in time for there little ice cream party.
