Moonpie's Buggy

Me and Dad picked this buggy body up over the weekend. It was listed on craigslist here in Griffin but I thought the price was a little high. I ended up talking myself into going to look at it anyway and the guy ended up dropping the price by more than half! Not really sure what the body is called but it looks like an Opel. I thought it was an interesting body style but I am not sure what to make of the headlights though. Took some time to pull all the rats nest of electrical out of it on Saturday. Then of course I had to mock up my cool 70's era buggy wheels. If and when things get done I will try and update this thread.
After a little searching I found a buggy that looks really close to this body but has had the headlight area smoothed out. With it smoothed I think it looks a little like a vette.

It kind of has that Bugeye Sprite look about it
