63 Buggy Budget Build
Last Saturday me and big bro went up to Athens and picked up a buggy (Thanks Shane) damn good price. It does have some issues, the pans are toast, passenger side of the tunnel is rusted out and several holes drilled in the body.
So Sunday we started the work. Got the body off and the pans cut out. Built a tube chassis and cut the bad part of the tunnel and patched, put in new pans, then built the roll cage.
The goal is to have her on the road by the end of August at a cost of under $1500.
Might have to call big bro to get some pics up.

Re: 63 Buggy Budget Build
Thanks, Been doing alot of body work the last few days. I noticed the paint was bubbled up in several places around the back and over the tires. So I started sanding and found about 75 holes from the size of a pencil to a dime filled in with bondo. I got it all out and started putting fiberglass back in. Hoping to finish it today.
Re: 63 Buggy Budget Build
We got most of the holes filled and the cracks repaired.
Started work on the dash last night. Got one layer of glass on and should finish up today.

Got a lot of new parts from Clyde over the weekend and a set of taillights that I'm going to cut down and mold in.

Just leave the luguts loose, she will be scraping the ground in no time.................
Tail lights look great, sometimes you see them where they don't really fit with the flow of the body, but those look right on!!

Haha, yeah I figured it would have to come up a little. First bump you hit like that and those fenders are toast.
