Neat Repair Manual
Not sure if this should go here, elsewhere or be a "sticky." Moderator feel free to move or even delete as you please!
I just noticed this manual on the Samba site. It say's it is new. Looks like it showed up in September of 2012. Nice to download if you need it!

Re: Neat Repair Manual
Wow. That looks neat!
I wonder if they have one similar to this one for a beetle. Might have to look and search for one. (If they have one that is.)

they have the bentley workshop manual for beetles which is very detailed.

It's a great book to have for reference, but can be frustrating at times when half the instructions say to "use vw factory tool xyz", and we don't have these factory tools at our disposal.
There was a website a while back where you could download this manual for free (albeit probably illegally), but I just checked and it's no longer available. I have the hardcover version of this book, but also downloaded the pdf version. It's 70mb large, so I don't really have a way to get it to you other than maybe on a cd next time I see you. That being said, it's over 1300 pages and the file isn't searchable, so it's not the easiest thing in the world to navigate. It does have a short table of contents with page numbers for each section, so that gets you to the ballpark of whatever section you are wanting to read about.

Re: Neat Repair Manual
Actually, as a matter of fact, I just got the 1200 workshop manual this past Christmas. And yes, it can be rather difficult to read with all of the factory tools that I don't have on hand.
Thanks for the assistance though. I appreciate the help.

Re: Neat Repair Manual
I still might download the pdf just as a back up though.
