74 beetle idle problems
has been sitting a while I cant get it to idle right any ideas ? cleaned out gas tank & new fuel lines took carb apart cleaned it where should i start with the volum screw and the bypass screw?
Re: 74 beetle idle problems
Your idle jet is probably plugged. Remove it with an 8mm wrench and clean out the hole with a wood toothpick, or blow it with a rubber tipped airgun.
Volume and bypass screws ought to be where they were before you took it apart. Always count the turns off bottom, before removal.
