Weather.com is saying 60% shows on Friday, 70deg.
Sat 69 deg, 30% Scattered Showers and a low of 48 deg., calm to 3mph winds Sat night. That sounds like great camping weather to me. Let's hope that model holds up for the next 7 days!!!!!

So what's the plans for cruising down? Drew doesn't get off work until 5 on Saturday.

Was thinking Sunday morning Drive.

We like to go down for the Cruise in at Steak and Shake then camp out at the track. I think Drew may have someone covering his shift on Saturday, so, we may be able to leave earlier.

Getting excited! We're gonna head up to Raymonds Friday afternoon to get an early start!
If anyone has some nice 65-66 bug doors (just shells, I have the inards) give me a shout with some pics and price.

If anybody has a good rear brake drum for a 64-67 bus (part # should be 211501615E), and could bring it to Reynolds, let me know!

Our crew of 5 will be down Sunday morning

I'll be leaving griffin sat about 1pm to go to cruise in, will be camping at the track. Anybody want to roll with on Sat give me a shout.

Which route you taking Shaky? If your taking backroads, we may take you up on that. Not sure if bob is going or not, so I'd like to have somebody to cruise down with.

Eric & Shaky, I think Cameron and I are heading down around that time. I'll check with him and see if we can meet y'all in Griffin around 1pm and let you know.

2 hours south of Atlanta

Gates open at 8am

Racing starts at 11am

Admission $15 (12 & under Free)

Used swap space $35 10x10 space (includes one admission) Please see website For other Vendor spots and race class prices

Saturday afternoon Cruise-In 3pm at Steak and Shake off Watson Blvd in Warner Robins.

Camping and vendor setup available Saturday evening after 7pm-11pm at track.

Don't forget to set you clocks ahead one hour Saturday night as we Spring Forward on Sunday.

We have vendors, racers and show cars coming from all over the Southeast. So bring yourself and the Family out for a nice Sunday with your VW Friends!



The VW Emblem Sign will be available at this event. This made by John Bickel out of Indiana and will be making the trip down for the show this weekend.

Man the weather channel and NOAA are way off from each other!
Weather Channel says only a 20% on Saturday and 10% on Sunday

Let's just knock on some wood for some good weather this weekend. We have been lucky all these years.

Yeah, yeah yeah, what does NOAA know.........Oh well, hopefully I'll get the wipers working.

If the weather holds out I'll be heading down Sunday morning 9AM from the McDonalds where 19/41 splits South of Griffin.

We don't want to have to worry about no wipers this weekend! SHHHHHHHHHHH

Wipers Ha Ha, mine go back and forth but thats all i can say about that.. lol
