New from Dallas

Hey, my name is Kyle, and I am pretty new to the on road scene. I ran rail buggies for several years, but a couple of years ago an unexpected job change forced me to sell my single seater, and my chain drive. I haven't had anything air cooled in almost two years so I thought I would try the on road thing, and so far I love it. Recently bought a 70 standard from a neighbor that he has had since the 80's (sat in a barn since the 80's) I got it home and have been going through it. Have replaced a lot of things including the beat 1600 that was in it with 88,000ths end play!!! Upgraded to a 1776 with a single 45 DLR, new right side pan, drop spindles, discs up front, 4 inch beam, roof rack..etc...etc. i am really looking forward to warmer weather and the chance to go to some car shows/ cruise ins with it. Also looking forward to meeting more folks who like the air cooled way as much as I do! Here is a couple(crappy) pics of my work in progress.
