Re: Project Bobber!
Bumping this because I just picked up a 77 Yamaha RD400 2-Stroke to build. Can't decide between a cafe or street tracker...

Re: Project Bobber!
The kid that works for me has a cool 69 Suzuki 350 two stroke cafe racer he wants to sell. $1000.00 takes it. I'll post pics if anyone is intrested.
Re: Project Bobber!
He has said to ask $1500.00, but I believe the first price I quoted would get it.

Re: Project Bobber!
I used to ride cafe and bobber style bikes, now my youth is catching up with me. I have the bike I dreamed of when I was a kid! 75 Kawasaki F11 Enduro.

Re: Project Bobber!
This thread is funny. I sold my old Honda CB550 cafe project to build a CB750 bobber, which I sold to fund my VW project.

Re: Project Bobber!
ok to achieve the look of a german look super fatty, you have to have your car look a certain way. Also it positively has to be on porsche twisties.
with an early car you have so many options in the direction you want to go. take my piece of shit for example. it looked like one car last month. and now its going through an entire transformation and its going to look like a completely different car.
german look = stuck
narrowed slammed on smoothies = classic look with options
and now back to the thread on project bobber.
if you have a rant go post it in the rants section. thats why there are topics.
dont post anything else in here about german look vs. early cars.
