I got this 08 mk5 jetta 2.5L and using it as my new project car. I added new rims, window tint, headlights, grill and lower lip for the front bumper. I also have a set of adjustable coilovers in my garage for it. future plans are 17s with stretched tires and a little camber.

But I am alaways looking for gatherings just seems like a lot of air cooled guys around here are not into havin a water guy around

There's plenty of get togethers for water cooled and Aircooled. I believe the Aircooled air heads meet the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. Bryce Guthrie is in charge of that group. If you have a Facebook there's a group called DürtyDübs dubs and they meet once a week and go out to eat in marrieta I think.
