My 71 Westy

Figured I'd post up some pictures after I wash the Westy today with the nice weather. I finally got the Dual Dellortos 40 tuned with the help of HoBug ( idle jets). Got it running good and then the bearings on the generator decided to go out. Ended up ordering one from The Samba so now it is back on the road again. My next mod is lowering it. Going to order some lowering spindles next week, I should have done it when I had the spindles out when I replaced the ball joints. I have been working on this Westy for the past 2 years.

Thank you. The engine is a 2016cc with 050 heads from Mofoco. I might upgrade the rockers to 1.25 later.

Yes, I am planning to order some Wagenwest spindles. Just waiting for a set of core I ordered from Samba to arrive then will send them for credit. Don't want to send mine because I want to keep a set as back up in case I wanted to reverse back to the original.
