soooo i went and picked up my very first aircooled this passed friday, highlite of my life so far, its's a 71 westy. as far as i've been up under it, the pans and battery tray are still solid, and the only cancer on the body is right along the rockers. its still got the full interior, overall in pretty good shape, but does need a litte tlc. all the glass is good, its a factory ac bus. 4 on the floor. uuuuhm i think all i need to get it on the road is a good running motor and tranny, and probably the brakes gone through. anyway, enough bablling..on to the pics. :p

the day i got it home.

and a couple from while we were broke down on our way home, a coolant line popped goin to the
tranny on my uncles truck, so it all poured out with in a mile and left a visible trail the entire way,you can see part of it on the ground in these 2.

we had to pull it with the big truck off of the road while we hauled the bus home and went back for it once we had the bus dropped off. fixed it n drove it home.

Run the M-Codes and see what ya come up with, the plate is behind the drivers seat near the door. Really cool information about the vehicle, it's destination, OG colors body/interior, etc.
