We had a blast today. I enjoyed seeing all the cars and speaking to some friends and making new friends. The run around the track was worth every penny and I would say the most enjoyable $10 I have spent on my bus so far. I have a video on youtube of my 4 laps for my and hopefully your enjoyment. This is the rough looking 64 standard from Lagrange, some of you have begun to see around. Thanks Bob for the invite and send me a copy of the picture you took at my side on lap 4.

One suggestion I would make is to add more porta pottys and perhaps designate 1 or 2 just for the ladies. I feel this would make it a little more pleasant for our better halves. Apart from that, it was a great day.

Yeah, I may try that trick in the morning. Bout to go to bed now, I'm beat. It turns over, just really really slow and only once or twice, then it stops. I'm going to get under there early tomorrow morning and tap it a few good times and re-check my wiring and ground connections.

And yes, I agree about the bathroom situation. That porta was getting mighty ripe by the end of the day . Other than that, no complaints from me!

That rear ending happen when u released you e braked and rolled into my car! Other than that I had a blast!!! Thanks to everyone who made this happen!!

Just to clarify. There were supposed to be 2 ports potties and I do apologize for there not being 2. Last year there were 2 and we had a male and female and was to be the same but something fell throgh the crack. But thanks for all the thoughts

i would like to thank everyone who made this happen this year! we had another great show thanks to the support of this great community, we will continue to do this as long as we can. we had alot of volunteers this year who made this happen, thank you all VERY much. the potty situation was an unfortunate error( not on our end) and has been addressed. we apologize for this and thank you for your understanding. i really enjoyed the show, i did'nt get a chance to talk with all of you, but enjoyed seeing you all out dubbin! the track ride was great and i loved seeing all those VW's out there!!

i had a blast its the funnest show around just hot but thats ok id rather it be hot than cold an for yalls info i was going slow because i had my bus set up for bristol just kiding again thanks david an mike an every one involved it was awsome

no complaints ,but suggestion. The show cars under trees would be a great idea for next year. There has been shows under them in the heat of the summer in years past and its a lot cooler. Other than seein a mirage from bein so hot show was awesome. Great dj too good music mix . Can't wait till next yr.

Friday night was Awesome, Sat WAS the funnest show around! Loved the dj and music mix, too! Took so many pics I thought my camera was gonna melt into a glob a goo. Will try to get them on Photobucket tomorrow.

Like everyone else, FANTASTIC Show. I'm proud to be apart of a group like the GA Dubs. Like I've said before it's about the cars but then again it's not about the cars. I get to see some folks only once a year and do some catching up with others.

Thanks to everyone that was involved, members, sponsors and yes the participants. More cars this year than last that's awesome.

Now to a new show concept....
What if we moved this show to the twilight hours. 1pm till dusk and do a twilight cruise around the track. Not dark but dusk, start track cruise around 8pm. No track lighting required. Of course if the date were to change then the time of dusk would change as well. Just a thought.

Had an absolute blast. We just got home, we camped last night too and I ended up going up to the track and doing a ride along with the Fasttrack racing guys. 70 bucks and got to ride shotgun in a stock car doing 175 around the track. Great time!

I agree with the comment about the DJ. The music was spot on all day, the anouncements were clear and very understandable. Just wish I had won something, hanging onto my ticket in the hopes for next.

Oh damn, i didn't even realize i rolled back, i thought u went forward . So sorry bout that. I'll totally buy you another light, no problem.

Hot fun in the summertime.
Definately the laps on the track were the stuff. Takes a while to wind the 3.88 out to criuzing speed....rolled at 75 thru 3 & 4 but had to slow down on the front stretch cause others were waving at the camera. The track turned the car thru the corners, very smooth ride in the vert.

Ya'll do know that VW's have turned more laps at AMS than NASCAR this year.
