Is there a post that lists all the show details? I haven't found one that lists everything like Dates, times, costs to enter, cost to show, cost to vend, events and foods etc. Not everyone one in the Athens club comes to this site and I'm trying to find one spot for all this info to send them to. Thanks. Jon

Mike edited the very first post on page 1 a while back. I think most of that info is there (look between the flyers)

I don't think the food situation is addressed in that post, but I know David said somewhere else that food will be available as well as canned drinks, ice tea, and water.

can you drive your car around the track both friday night and saturday afternoon? last year I know you could drive around the track on saturday..... let me know asap! thanks! Chadd

If you enter friday show you can drive around the speedway friday night and you will be able to cruize and saturday also.the cruize saturday is $10.00. Food will be avalible

Except for the to and from.....ran out of gas and broke a clutch cable

X3, saw alot of nice rides, sold some parts, sold my bay and had a few hot dogs! Life is good!

Next year, just turn down the heat a little.... a couple of times I thought I was back in Knoxville....

x4 - but I had some fuel probs down and back too - thought it was a dirty fuel filter- changed that on the side of tara blvd. then got abt 2 miles from home and it cut out again- jamming down gas pedal and just none getting through

all and all awesome wow! The drive on the track felt like I was driving a Ferrari around the banks, and not a flat turd bay bus. The track all but turned the the bus how she needed to go. I feel you on the fuel problems, I dropped a fuel pump on the way down last night, and had to walk to the "Zone" with the kids to get an universal electric pump. On the way home popping and cracking after getting to only Camp Creek on 285, and then had to baby it home, I hope its just the heat.....

don running out of fuel on the track was hilarious, . even free cars still need gas. And damn, i totally forgot that u needed my jack. sorry bout that man . hope you got it sorted out.

Man was it hot today or what!!! My new starter (cheapy from advance) is dead. Guess the heat did it in. It acted up in the staging line once, but finally started. Then leaving the show after packing up, it never would work, and the G.A.S. crew had to get me push started (THANKS!!!). Got back home and let the car set for a few hours and cool down, and it's still unresponsive so I guess I'll be getting another (better) one.

Had a blast at the show seeing the cars and talking with everyone. Hope everyone made it home safely.

What was the final count for the show cars?

On behalf of david and myself THANK YOU TO ALL THAT CAME,AND ALL THAT HELPED. We could not have the show with out all the support we have. We will start planing to have again next year. Was there any complaints about the show?

wish i could have made it there earlier, lol. then I got rear ended by someone when we lined up, lol, but its all good. no harm done. I'm not even 100% sure what happened, i just heard a bang
