I agree. I work downtown and I love it. Sure there are parts of downtown I wouldn"t want to be alone after dark but there are areas just like that in Lawrenceville or any other part os town.

Understand the show will be on the weekend. Downtown traffic is not bad on the week end.
just think 100 or so Vw cruising down peachtree st. just be openminded, i have been doing events for 20 years
f rom world series to super bowl to a willie nelson concerts. i was a big part in the set up of the 96 olympics.
thats a little bit of my resume. the show will be looked at,at all angles. the location is a parking deck easy to secure. there is a police station right next door. you will hate you missed it.

My vision of this event is to have a show as big as the shows on the west coast.there will be alot of activities
for the whole family. i am going to bring in portable showers for the ones camping. downtown atlanta has changed alot . remember downtown is under total surveillance!!!! there will be a host hotel for the ones who dont want to camp. at the hotel their will be a vw toy show and vw building seminars. and a he!! of a party on that saturday night. you would want to come just for the party. I know you dont know me but i bet some of you have attended an event that i had a hand in. Trust me this thing will be a good event for years to come.

I say you make it happen and we will all plan to go. We will all have a good time. MAKE IT HAPPEN and have lots of venders and car wash girls.

Parking deck? Be sure the clearance is high enough for a bus with a rack. And some of us have hightop and pop-top Westys.
