Large Vw show in atlanta

Hi my Name is COOCOO4VDUBS and im first a vw lover and second a show contractor. I was thinking why not merge the two and create something wounderfull. Ihave attended alot of shows here in the southeast, and want to fill the void everyone has been feeling since the large vw show here in atlanta changed. The event will be a two day event. it will be open to air cooled as well as water cooled. their will be a curse, photo ops, vendor section, swap meet, and last but not least two nights of partys that will be talked about for time to come. this forum is a survey to see how many people will be intersted in attending an event like this. the dates are still open we are on the ground level. if you are interested you can email me at coocoo4vdubs@yahoo.com. thank you looking forward in hearing from you

It would be cool to have a Vdubfest weekend. As long as it didn't overlap with any other preexisting shows. Be sure to check the calender.

HELLO!!!.... do i need to remind everyone about YU Buggin in August? that is what we are trying to do...make a show for the true VW enthusiast.

As long as they are evenly spaced, I would love to have 2 large shows here in GA each year. The best shows I have been to include: camping, vending, something for the kids, music, food and clean restrooms.

Im down for a big show! or two...

clean rest rooms is a plus and some were safe were are wheels dont wind upmissing while we are sleeping

Something like BAP, my favorite show! Wish they had one on the middle of fall! We can camp at AMS, I still need to call and find out the fee. Might be a little hot in Aug. for camping.

That's exactly what I was trying to say. We don't need to schedule one on top of another. There is Silverdollar in the early spring, then YUBuggin in August. That I'm aware of these are the only 2 major show in Ga. Of coarse there is the nieghboring states that already have some awesome shows, but, I would love to see some more in Ga.

U are right. timing is very important. I want to bring some prestige to the vw scene. I want to stray away from the grass fields. I want to bring a show directly downtown.

the venue has APD across the street. We are looking to do it at a parking lot so camping will be coverd on one of the levels.
