1971 Karmann Ghia Convertible
This is my eBay Special. It looked super in this ad. The next picture is an example of what I found under the paint
Here she is now...
It is mostly done. I still have to work out some hinge issues (who da' thunk it ). The engine is a stock 1600DP, but with single quiet-pack exhaust and header. I also replaced the cheap 5" round air intake, with a K&N oval (RA-072V) designed for an Opel, but fits fine because no raintray.

Beautiful. Kabriolet tops are an engineering marvel- especially if you have to replace the straps, headliner, padding, etc... Your 'vert looks sweet.
