Re: My new project EMPI IMP
I'm working on sanding the body to the original color,(it has two other colors on top of it). The chassis has been cut to size and new floors will be added next weekend. The engine that came with it runs strong, still will take the heads out and install new jugs and hight rev springs for the turbo. Also being busy fixing ( two new VW in the Warner Robins area) for some friends, 1965 and 1960
Pics will come next week.
Also need one 5 lug 5.5 wide wheel, or two wider wheels 7 or 8 inch for the rear.

The chassis is welded, and the body sanded to the original paint, still need some hand sanding in some spots.
Working on floors.
Trail fit of the body.
A friends VW that I'm bringing back to life.

Today I drove the buggy to work.
It drives good, still need to find someone to build a roll cage.

Re: My new project EMPI IMP
How does it ride sitting that low?
It rides really good, has lowering spindles and an old front end thats being
low for some time. The front tires touch the fenders at full turn, besides that it all good. It needs to be align cause it shakes between 60 and 70, and a roll cage to make it feel more rigid.
