Re: 1966 Deluxe
it goes to the highest bider. You have nothing that those would look good in....... I DO!!!!!!!!!!
Re: 1966 Deluxe
Well, so far I have been boxing up everything I have taken off it and saving it. I figured since it has some history as a magazine/show car I might want to keep that stuff in case I sell it down the road. The next owner might want to return it to its condition in the magazine story. I will have to think about it some more, but Tim is first in line if I decide to let em go.

Re: 1966 Deluxe
Replaced the throwout bearing clip, and got the engine back in. While it was out I took care of a few things I have been wanting to do. Was wanting a different look so I put on the tie-dye fan shroud I got from Gary a while back. Installed the Scat carb linkage and rebuilt the linkage at the accelerator pedal, this made a world of difference to the pedal feel. Had to reroute the fuel lines and do a little creative tube bending to be able to use the existing lines. (I plan to relocate them behind the shroud as a winter project). The coil will not be in the position as shown in the pic, its just laying on the tin. I will need to lengthen the wiring and it will be relocated to the left bulkhead next to the engine.
Also cleaned and painted the exhaust while it was out with some high heat paint from POR-15. I am curious to see how it holds up:

Yes I will be there. I probably won't make Jason's, but i definitely will be at Gary's. All kidding aside, it really looks good with the added color
