Re: Anyone up for a club project car?
malik, whassup. you missed the carnage, lol. hope to see you at the next project car par-tay. we got the front end sawed off, the fenders off, the body off, and the pans cut off. lot o fun, and already had some bloodshed (bryce got bloody knuckles, and i think bob accidentally beat the crap out of someone ). i also think 30% of us got tetanus. hope everyone is up to date on their tetanus shots, hahahaha.

Re: Anyone up for a club project car?
to post pics you have to have them on an online photo hosting site, like photobucket, or myspace. then copy the url of the pic and click on the last top button on the posting screen, that has a pic of a picture on it. and paste it in the box. or simply add img tags on the beggining and end of the url like so:
[img]www.photobucket.com/your_album/your_pic.jpeg[/img}
that last "}" needs to be a "]"

Re: Anyone up for a club project car?
Did anyone happen to pick up an extra set of channel locks on our previous workday?
Re: Anyone up for a club project car?
I'll dig through my bag, but I think I just have my old torn red handle ones.
I found the metal that I briefly mentioned at the first work day. There really isn't much left of the pan. I have no idea what happened to it, must have been an early attempt at trying to patch the original pans. The front section is all there though from the front of the seat rail forward (I think it was the drivers side).
Also found this piece if we can use it. Has a good size hole cut in the flat part (guess I used it for donor metal), but still very usuable if we need it.

Re: Anyone up for a club project car?
Hey Bryce, If some of yall want to come back up, Ihave a single port in a 67 than turns over a little by hand and then gets tight. I will donate it to the club bug. Maybe between this one and your short block, yall could make something happen. If nothing else, its complete. Jeff

Re: Anyone up for a club project car?
So is this still happening? we need to plan out another work day. I'm itchin to get this thing rollin. definately gonna be sweet once completed. got a few ideas while at BAP. i noticed most of the V-rods there just had the trailing arm/ spindle assemblies switched. I would think caster shims might help the obvious switch in caster when swapped around, so that woud definately help with drievablity. but thats just a thought.
