Swap-a-Paluza - September 20-21, East Ridge, TN

Free swap meet and campout hosted by the Scenic City Volks Folks. Like last year, there will be no judging, no registration, no awards. We invite you to clean out your garage and sell your old parts, come buy new parts, or just come hang out. Our event is held in the RV lot at Camp Jordan September 20-21, 2014.

Thanks again, for putting this together- Like a lot of folks, I spend the majority of my time at the swap meet at B.A.P.- so for you guys to do this as a way of giving back to the VW community is fantastic

Also if you guys haven't heard, they are building a Bass Pro Shop along Exit 1 in East Ridge, right at the entrance to Camp Jordan. So when you come into town you will see a lot of land cleared. The store isn't scheduled to open until 2016, but we are already worried about how construction will affect the entrance to Camp Jordan for our shows. Also the city has agreed to a land swap deal where they will clear down the high ground at Camp Jordan behind the RV lot and use it as fill dirt in order to raise elevation where they are building Bass Pro Shop. Given how badly the area floods already, we are also worried about how much worse this will make Camp Jordan flood even more after they take out the high ground. But on the plus side, they've agreed to build a bath house as part of the deal, something we have been pushing for a long time. They have also agreed to build another large pavilion with a fire pit and barbecue grill.

Bringing some cool stuff Saturday. NOS beetle trim pieces. NOS 68-73 bumpers, org NOS bumper strips, NOS bumper guards. Mk1 west German Porsche phone dials in 4x100 with brand new tires. Late bay bottle cap alloy wheels with good tires.

i will be leaving this afternoon to head down. if anyone needs anything for early beetle let me know.
