Advice on Carpet Empty Advice on Carpet

Post by mrfeather Mon Apr 14, 2014 11:43 pm

Here is my issue my 56 is sitting on a 70 pan with early set tracks welded in so that I can use the low back sets. I know that the heater vents on the 56  is all the way to the fire wall on the car. Knowing that I assume that I need to use a 56 carpet set but need to know that the carpet would fit the pan.

Probably 56 carpet on the heater channels, luggage compartment, and under the dash if you're doing that; and 70 carpet directly on the pan and tunnel.

Really, the only differences are the location of the shifter and the heat controls on the pan. The later pan shifter location is further rearward and the heat controls are located on the sides of the parking brake handle instead of the knob by the shifter.
