Rebuild 1200 or buy a rebuilt 1600??
So its been a few weeks now since I found out the car I bought had a trash motor. One rod seized to the crank. Leaving me to believe I can either rebuild it and stay original or go bigger. What do you guys think.
If I rebuild the 1200, does anyone know anywhere I can get a rebuild kit for one??

Totally go bigger..mine had the 1200 in it had it a month and the motor went bye bye lol..locked up completely. .but the little hills around here it was struggling I was getting honk at by the older people lol..went to a 1600 and was totally worth it. .but I know some people that like it being original. .so I guess it's a preference thing..either or good luck on what you decide

I second that. Go 1600
Just because it's a Dub doesn't mean you won't need to get outa the way some times
and you'll need some power to do that.
