I'm looking at my beetle and I'm pretty sure she's telling me she likes to get low. I don't have a clue where to start with a project like that and before I do I'd like to know some of the pros and cons. I'm not necessarily talking about scraping the pavement but rather low enough to look cool and still be able to get around town and over a speed bump.

What are some of the cons? How big of ia project is it? Consider me very green.

Thanks!

I went with 2.5 spindles and 145-65-15 tires. Dropped the front about 3.5 inches and kept the factory ride comfort. It's not too hard to do. It's just nuts and bolts.

You still have the Port-A-Walls on it?

Not my bug anymore but I took the port-a-walls off about 3 mo. after that pic. They were starting to have the letters from the tire burn into them. Also they were too wide and just did not lay right. Need to be installed on a Bias Ply tires for best results. Radials have too much sidewall flex.
