been working on body last few weeks. me and gary s. have made a ton of progress will have pics soon! we cut the sides off due to pitting and dentrs to put a custom touch. back end is finished air ducts shaved trying to figure out what i want to do with engine bay door still .... purist will cry ,but thats what this bus is all about. ill be the first to admit that it couldnt be done with out a lot of great ppl. behind me cause ive given up on this thing several times and john, darrel , gary, josh , david and many others push and help me out daily. to get this thing going . sometimes i listen and sometimes i dont . thanks to everyone that has tought me about vws and pushed me on this particular project!

So what engine is going in?

the engine will be watercooled havent thought much about it gonna get it nice b4 i do that swap i have alot going on in life at this moment hopefully in about a amonth everything will come tgether and i can get in my shop more than 1 day a week it'll get done though[img][/img][img][/img]

soon as the body is welded up b4 the bondo, got a guy helping on the fabrication of the body.  havent worked on it in weeks but he wants to leave it stock height until done with the front end thats all thats left. he has had some breathing issues lately and i dont want to push him.i post pics when body is complete and during the beam raise

Wow its been 3 years and I haven't touched this thing......well I think the vw bug has hit me again at least until deer season . let's see what happens
