Just run a upright 1600 or a 1776. It will save you a lot of headache in the long run.
Re: My Late 71 camper! drop zone
Sat this bus the other day with the new corners being formed.
It will be great when done.
Really was looking good.

Re: My Late 71 camper! drop zone
any one who has ever had a bus knows that the air ducts on rear side that i removed bring air in but what is the tube thing that is behind them? i had to cut mine out to get the tail lights to cut in i have spent near a ton of time on these lights but all great things take time. they llok like something to cool gas but dont know? do i need them if going with a eletric fuel pump or will they be replaced with a inline fuel filter?

Those tubes are Part of the fuel tank vent system and chatcoal emissions canister do not disturb and make sure all hoses going to fuel tank are repladed before you close up fuel tank area.otherwise you will smell fuel forever

Doodle, they look pretty sweet. I was over there Friday working in the shop for a bit and Chris showed me the Chrome in them...once he gets them opened up just right where it'll flush down it's look good. He's already working on the sheet metal for the smoothed lower section with no lights and man it's impressive.

That's going to sound corny to some people, but it's a very liberating thing to do. I had my pile when I worked on the Squareback. We've all done it and it's pretty awesome when you look at that pile on the ground, throw it out, realize where you are as opposed to where you've been, and even more so where you're heading. I'm proud of you man, great steps, great steps!!!

Re: My Late 71 camper! drop zone
after work met someone over at shop to look at bus got off early and worked on bus [url=]
this is my plan for the corners put a few tacks in it like that and rip'd it off would be too low so ill trim the corners and move it up to the line please flip picture thanks
[url=]
would have that rolled design all the way across the back end and have mufflers sitting there pressed against the ground getting ready to slam back out soon as thats complete! then after that maybe i can slide the front up to doodle to get set up.
