Sweet Thang is going to be a 'no show'. Says he has to work......I think he can't get a kitchen pass.

Please remember to do the maintainance on your VW. Be SURE your brakes are adjusted and ready for a run through the mountains.

Also, please have a full gas tank before we start the run Saturday morning.

We got back about 2 hours ago. We had alot of fun. The Athens vw club were great hosts. With grey skies, it was still a great cruise through the mountains and time well spent with my wife. The Mistress ran great. Thank you to everyone who made the poker run possible.

Thanks to everyone who came up to Helen for the run. We had a blast and I got to meet some GA Dubbers that I only knew from their posts. We drove 90 miles thru the mountains, had some great stops along the way, and ended up with all the cars still under their own power.
