Transaxle raise? Empty Transaxle raise?

Just wondering if anyone here locally has one in their VW. Just trying to get a realistic view on the subject.

There's a kid named Chris that goes to school with my daughter that has a 66(?) with a raised tranny.

yep kcw is the best source for info on tranny raises. its a fairly straight forward procedure just a lot of work. i'm planning on doing mine eventually

I met a guy at a baseball tournament in powder springs with a red 65. He let the air out of his suspension
and the pan was flat on the ground. I was talking to him and he said he had to raise the tranny to get it go this low, Might be the same guy. His car was nice. I put my baja next to it and mine was twice as high.

I saw that car @ Steve Sands's shop one night. He was about to do some digital dash work to it.

That's the one I saw. The digital dash was completed. I like what they did with the suspension.
