Fender Mounted mirrors??? Anyone

I know that some early cars had these and from what I have been told they were an accessorie. Kinda rare from what I have been told. I have seen two in person that had them. That was long before I aquired Sadie which has the mounts on her fenders but no arm and mirror. Does anyone have or know a lead on info on these? There not the ones that go on the end of the trim on the front quarters but out on the fenders.

I had one of those. The ones Eric needs are different than that. His have a metal base with a tapered square seat for the stem of the mirror to set onto mounted to the fender. Chadd looked at them last night and said Eric's is the same on Kat's 64 rhd. He said she has an extra set but doesn't know if she'll let them go.
