Not a huge fan of plastic sideview mirrors, but at $25 and this neat trick, it may be worth your consideration.
The hardest part is drilling the hole where the wire will be hidden by the rubber while avoiding the tension screw:

I apologize for the poor picture, but this is the best that I have from inside the base.

Then you drill a hole where your LED is to mount and fish out your wires from behind the mirror.

You might already have mounts for your sideview mirrors. But if you do not here is what I did:

First use masking tape to draw where you want your mirror to mount. Notice I made a few changes before actually drilling.Turn-signal sideview mirrors 20200813

Next I drilled my pilot hole and one for the wiring, added a grommet for the wires and removed the tape.

Bracket mounted and wire threaded through the hole and into the car at the bumpstop.

*** I did have these crack and break while sitting under a cover and at a friend's house for two years- so when I reinstalled, I added a little JB Weld in the corners of the base, which has held pretty well for a cross country trip and ~8months at the posing of this thread.

Here is the finished product.

Wish I found a brighter LED as these are almost worthless during the day, but at dusk these begin to look great!!!
