a preview of the "ROOTS" award, presented by the Georgia Dubs at SoWo!!! this will be given to the best Aircooled dub in attendance.
Also wanted to let everyone know, NO pop-up tents are allowed in the show car area. I know this may be inconvenient for some people but it is in the best interest and safety of all show cars and show go-ers. Headed up Friday morning, see you-uns there!!

Blew a rear tire, need to replace both of them. Really need to raise it some too. All is not going to happen before Friday.

We had a blast too!!there were well over 2500 cars in attendance this year! the Roots award was not given out because none of the air-cooled cars in attendance were actually registered!! I am a little disappointed Thanks to those who did come out, I was glad to see you guys there. I hope next year we can all go and park together and represent Ga. Dubs the way we deserve to be represented!!

I'll definitely go again next year. Would have registered if I knew I could have won that sweet lookin award.

i know kyle was registered. and i registered too but never went and checked in and got my hang tag and stuff cause we were so late getting there

We had a blast. Amazed at how much this show has grown. Seems like it practically doubles every year. I remember 3 years ago driving my bus and seeing like maybe 2 or 3 other aircooleds total.

Everything was kinda winding down when we got there from CTS Saturday evening. Still had a great time hanging out with everyone Sat & Sun. Might try to go for the whole weekend next year tho. Logged close to 600 trouble-free miles making the run up to Charlotte then back to Helen!

Registration was closed so that's why I didn't register. Sounds like some miscommunication somewhere.... Had a hell of a time though, blown away by how many cars were there. Never seen a car show with this many cars in attendance.,will continue to participate at this event. I allways enjoy it.

So many beautiful Vw's and Audi's. Actually made me want one.....until I remembered how terrible they are reviewed. I havent met too many satisfied owners. Thats ashame because we are in the market for something different.

I will say nothing but good things about my 08 Jetta!! VW makes some nice new cars.

You went to one of the largest VW/Audi shows in the country and couldn't find any satisfied owners??

I love my Passat and The CC is a top 5 consumers choice. Where did you get those reviews? Sounds like people who think cars are trouble free,all cars have there quirks.

I always go to carsurvey.org. I don't expect them to be trouble free, but a little more reliable for the money. Check out those reviews. They are usually pretty accurate. Of course I have never owned a water cooled vw. I always research reviews before buying a car. That's all I have to go by since the few people that I know have had one didn't like the inherent problems. Not taking a shot against them. Just repeating what I read.

UI like the 2004 B5.5 Wagon and the 2000 MK4 GTI VR6.
Different than ACVW's = yes.
But I like my WCVW's.
