Hey Guys!

First i would just like to say sorry for not really becoming a part of this community. I got my bug and then work has piled up on me so i haven't been able to attend anything. But i've seen a few of you around. and would love to get together sometime!

So the couple of things are:

one: anyone know of a good local VW shop? I'm sure this has been covered over and over, but it seems like the ones most people recommend are north atlanta somewhere... and my bug is my daily driver (for now, see thing #2) so i don't want to leave it somewhere for a few days...

Thing #2: So the wife's about to Pop with our Third child and Her current car is not going to hold all them carseats... so we will be jumping on board the Minivan train within the next few weeks. which means i will use her car, and my wonderful, reliable, kick butt VDub is no longer going to be my daily driver. I would love to just keep it in the garage and work on it, but i'm afraid with all them kids i'm going to need the $$ and the space in the garage too.... So does anyone know someone looking for a Beetle? I'll be glad to meet up sometime and give ya the full tour. Nothing special done, but i've had the car for 6 months or so and i've had NO TROUBLE with it.... i have put probably 10,000+ miles on it (i drive alot) and want to see it go to a good home... I can send pics or try to post them if anyone is interested...

VW's don't leak oil, they just mark their spot, lol. the closest one to you i can think of is import auto just off forest parkway. its on main street, which uns along forest parkway seperated by train tracks. their # is 404-363-3738.

Yea, go talk to Steve. If you call, you may get Valerie (his wife) but she will take care of questions, and fitting you in. They're a great pair of people, and run an excellent shop!

I work in Hampton. I could be persuaded to come take a look at it and give you a preliminary lowdown.

X3 on Pro-Flow. Best engine guy in town.
