had a great turnout today, i think i counted 17 or 18 cars!! great to see everybody...i will get some bowling in one of these days!

Hello everyone! It's Lisa, 1978 blue convertible VW, better known as Lucy. Really enjoyed meeting you guys today and my husband was impressed with the number of cars @ Sonic today when he asked how many showed up! Hopefully next gathering we can bring both cars and myabe learn some stuff about them from you guys! Again, thanks Pat for the warm welcome and hope to get to meet more of you fellow vwers soon!

Glad you came out Lisa. I didn't get a chance to meet you today but I did see your car. Just so you don't get your hopes up too much today was one of our better turn outs we have had. It's hit and miss. Glad you found us and welcome to the forum!

Not a problem, I was happy we decided to uncover Lucy and drive out! I agree that if the meeting spot was visible to the road, more people may stop. Hope to meet more of you guys when we come back.

Sorry that I missed today but with the impending bad weather tomorrow I had to go to Woodstock today. It was an expensive day!

thanks it was cold because of the wind but it was a great turn out hope to get bigger. I know there are alot more vw's in our area
