January 9th Meeting

Going to switch it up a little this meeting. Instead of being hidden at the Sonic we are going to go just a little farther down the road and meet in the McDonough Square. I know parking probably wont be as easy as sonic but I think we will get a lot more exposure there.

Still meeting @ 2pm!

If it doesnt work and turns out to be too big of a pain then we will look for another spot until we find a good one!

Hope to see you guys on the 9th for sure, but hopefully we will see most of you at the bonfire on the 2nd.

EVERYONE IS ALWAYS WELCOME AT SUMMIT.PLENTY OF PARKING..CLEAN RESTROOMS...AND PLENTY OF EXPOSURE!

Cool! There is a welcome center (or something like that) at one corner of the square with the old style gas pumps out front. Been wanting to get some pictures around it.

The square should work fine as long as there aren't any festivals going on.

Note: You don't have to feed the meters on the weekends.

What calendar are you looking at? The 11th is a Monday!

I would like to try to attend. I would like to become a member. I've never been to any of your functions. I sent out a post about a month ago and you guys were great. Hopefully this week I'll have one of my bugs running.

Awesome! There is no membership fees or anything. Just show up and hang out and you are part of the group!

Been looking for ya on Fridays also Jim. Friday nights Peachtree City, Starbucks next to Stienmart and Publix. We will not meet this week but I'm having a Bonfire at my place Sat night. You're more than welcome to stop by.

Hi stumbled on your group this weekend while look for a local shop for brake work. I moved to mcdonough about two years ago and did not know there was a VW group. If I can I am going to try to stop by on the 11th. Stephen

Welcome Stephen, we are just a bunch of VW Nuts. Free and family oriented! Can't beat that with a stick.

Nice to meet you I am very excited about finding a local vw club. Do you know of a good break shop that works on buses? My old shop is in Decatur not so convenient any more. Thanks and look forward to meeting everyone on the 9th, but will not be in the bay.

I should be able to make this one. I may bring a buddy who is going to help me out with the van. He can weld and I need to learn. There will be a lot of welding to do.

There's a 50's type restraunt/ice creap shop that has good food on the square. They have good sandwihes.
