World of Wheels

we were invited to the World of Wheels today by Bruce Wilson,the show chairman. he was at AMS last year on Friday night and was impressed by the turnout and the cars!!! if anyone is interested check out their website or contact Bruce at 404-379-8232 or bwilson@georgiacontrol.com. you will need to check in with him bfore the end of next week to beat the deadline and insure everyone can park together. if any individual clubs are interested, they have a cash prize for best club display. i think it would be awesome for Ga. Dubs to represent!!!

Whats the date for this? I want to try to make, it, but not sure if I can "dub- it" for the event.

Jan. 21-23. if you can't dub it, this is still a cool event. Don they have an artist raffle for charity.check out their website....www.autorama.com

Yeah, this show isn't for daily drivers. It is for show queens...
You have to leave your car there from Thursday to Sunday!

therwill be some cool stuff there but not much vintage air cooled

that is why he invited us, they like to have a variety of cars. this is not JUST trailer queens, they have a whole section dedicated to "rat rods" and rockabilly style cars. there are always a few vendors selling some cool vintage stuff too, i picked up a clean 70 Ga. tag and a sweet shift knob there last year. if it's not your thing that's cool too...i just wanted to let everyone know we were invited and we did catch the attention of the hot rod guys....

like david said NOT just trailer queens ,I had my 57 there 2 years ago and had a great time,but you will be without your car for 4 days but they have security 24 hrs a day

im just kinda against the whole uber show car thing and only taking your car out of the garage to trailer it to the show
just another reason for me to get my merc back on the road so i can have the dub down for a few days and still have a means of transportation lol

That would be a neat way to show the public some VW history.
Contacted Brian he stated there needs to be a minimum of 4-5 cars for club area and he will need that information when registeriing. How many are going ?
