Saturday-
Very clean - Silver 67 near Home Depot in Hiram.

We passed this interesting dub on the way home today. Southbound on the connector about a mile before Langford Pkwy. Looked like a homemade whaletale and canvas covering the roof. Then as we got on 85S we saw a yellow ghia, but we didn't get a pic of it.

I know i've seen that bug before, but can't remember where. IAS maybe?

What: flat black baja.

What: White late beetle on Riverias.

When: 9/4 11:30 AM

Where: Getting gas at the Carl Superette in downtown Carl.


Notice both sightings were only 15 mins apart...........

Yesterday afternoon

Saw an OG yellow 70's model bug 73-newer (elephantfoot taillights). completely stock appearing. stock exhaust too. looked nice. was following him down fairview road, but he then turned off on gardener road.

yeah that's Ted you can see him down at texaco gas station on moreland at I-20

awsome. I wonder if his bug ever had an engine fire at some point. i noticed there was a rust spot on the decklid around the middle vents, going up (as if fire was burning away the paint as it went up). Looked very similar to my decklid. apparently my bug had an engine fire at some point, bacause all the wires, and that electrical hook up diagnostic box is melted, and it has the same rust spot where you can tell the fire went thru the vent, and burned up. also the inside of my decklid was black. i thought it was just paint or something, till i scrubbed it down one day, and yellow started comming thru .

yesterday on sweetwater church rd I saw an orange super gettin loaded up on a flatbed.... this morning about 0545 I saw another orange super turning from patmell rd onto austell, we honked back and forth.

Watching MythBusters this morning, "Elevator of Death" and they showed the guys (Adam Savage)driving and whatayaknow.... you see the front of what you think is a splitty bus then they go a little farther forward and yeah it's a bus then forward more and no it's a Double Cab. Flat black, very nice Double Cab. Well the wife and I melted.....

Yeah he had it for a while. I had heard that he finally sold it because it was getting thrashed by the mythbusters crew so much.

caught a glimpse of a nice black lowered 62 or 63 on South Candler this morning- anybodys on here?

Well, my bug died today, and was able to push it to a gas station. as i was waiting for the flatbed to arrive, i see a stock yellow bug drive by, it was on the corner of 42 and forest parkway, he was heading down forest parkway towards stockbridge. didn't really get a good look at it, just know it looked stock, and had a stock exhaust.

Green and white '70 Bay. Kroger parking lot in Lake City. I talked with the guy and he knew about the site and the airheads...I think he's a K9 officer. Nice bus on the outside, straight and pretty rust free!

Just stepped out of the office to walk to the corner and get a creative loafing and heard the lovely sound of a vw engine. Turned around and a green ghia buzzed by. Young lady driver with a dog in the backseat.

What: Ghia Vert on a Trailer

When: Mon, Nov 9th Headed back from Tampa

As I went by and was looking it over the man driving the truck lost his hat. I was a good ways away from the man but I thought it might of been Mr. Conner?

We saw that one too. Either you were very close behind (or in front of) us or they were there for a while.

on monday (day before yesterday), i saw a really nice white bug going down fairview road. it looks like it was recently restored. really clean. a skinny white guy was driving it. i've seen it a few times driving around.
