Today 3/16
I-85 South from Old National Hwy to Palmetto Exit (he may have kept going south past the Palmetto exit, but I lost sight of him)
Had Coweta tag, but I've never seen it around town.

where: 2 miles East of GA 400 on Hwy 369, travelling towards Gainesville

what: late bug, purple. that's all I know as I saw it for about 3 seconds from a couple hundred feet or so

about 30-40 VW's all next to each other...........i went to IAS today .

but on the way home, i saw a nice white bug, saw it for like three seconds, but it was a latermodel (large rear window), and had aftermarket wheels. very clean, and looked freshly repainted, or waxed. parked in front of one of the stores on main street, down the road from IAS.

The other day I saw a vanagon, hope this is right but it was a double cab vanagon!!!! really cool lookin it was on the back of a truck heading east!!!

then today I saw 2 ghias heading east on the highway as well! 1 of was bone stock and the other was a reall hood ride low and rusty!

monday i saw a 71 super beetle parked in front of the bank in front of the ellenwood publix. It had OG paint, a few rust spots, but was all origional. it had those aluminum wheel covers with the oval stock looking slots in them, that goes around the stock 4 lug center cap. It had a college sticker in the back window (GA tech ??? i think). Really nice condition.

I got em going to work and coming back home.

I saw a slamed early bug...flat black with white sides on GA-211 coming into Winder, GA on my way back to Gainesville from Athens. The stance was killer.

Coming home from work one afternoon about a few weeks ago, I was sitting at a red light at the North by-pass here in Dalton and saw this car hauler truck carrying several new high-end luxury cars. And among them was this shiny, two-toned lowered 60's beetle that looked like was ready for a magazine shoot or something.

Wished that I had a camera with me at the time.. but thats the way it goes.

What Orange Ghia Vert

What: a very nice red and white bay
Where: about 2 miles from my house going down Bakers Bridge RD heading towards Ridge Rd
Why: hes lucky I wanna drive my bug so bad its Beautiful out right now

WHAT: 60's model bug, white, really clean looking, had a nice aluminum VW emblem below the tag, with a word on either side of the VW symbol. the wheels were smoothies, also white, but a bit rusty. It also had a roof rack. Interior looked pretty nice too. I took some pics, i'll upload them later.
WHEN: about 5:15 pm.
WHERE: I passed him as he was turning into the ingles parking lot in ellenwood, by the time i turned around, he was already inside the store, where i then took pic of the bug in the parking lot, but i was in a rush to get to IAS before they closed.......I didn't make it, lol.

Did the Turbo slow you down? LOL

well... considering that i got from Ingles to IAS in 20 mins (a trip that normally takes 30 mins), going 60 the whole way..........Yeah maybe a little, hahaha. I'm gonna need to build me a new motor in preperation, cause there's no way in hell that thing is gonna last the way i drive it everyday, :Rockit:

Yeah, i got a 40 horse and a 36 horse on stand by in case anything does happen. I wonder how a 36 horse will work with a turbo ......

It will make 38hp!
