The rag in the back ground was the guys that I got this on e from. Im sure it is long gone. Body wise mine was in much better shape. It had alot of rust in the kick panels

Get to work man! I remember looking at this one when I was getting those fenders from you. Gonna be a real nice project! Sorry to see the German-Look go, but at least you can immediately jump into something new.

On the way home from the garage after sitting idle for 4 years. This was taken on the way into the subdivision enroute to the house. This is the first of many many pictures. I will be posting weekly. First is to get pans in and the stance I want. I will also be looking for a freeway flyer trans or a good 67 trans. I have my dropped spindles and will be putting adjusters in as well. Stay tuned........
I am pumped about this project and if anybody wants to help with different parts of the rebuild just let me know. So if you have any areas that you would like to learn how to do come on out. I will welcome any help.

A little work tonight. Got the body off and the front end removed. Next the transaxle and maybe the pans replaced by the time the weekend is over.

Finished the pans tonight. Taking the front beam to BKR friday or saturday. Still looking for a 67 or 68 transaxle. Can one find one that is good and cheap?
Soda blasted the front half of the pan and painted it with a rust proof paint. Final coat will be POR 15.
Going kinda slow with hunting season still going strong. I will soon pick up the pace.
