little bit of smoke on start up

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I am getting blue smoke when I start the bus....sometimes. But only for a few seconds.
If I have been driving and engine is warm. Restart with NO SMOKE.
Drive to work and let sit till lunch...SMOKE.
When parked for a long time (day or so) NO SMOKE on startup !?
Runs well,
embarrassing when everyone leaves the parking lot at work thru my smoke cloud!

sounds like rings- I wouldn't worry abt it unless it starts smoking continuously

maybe oil is blowing past your crank vent and pooling in the aircleaner. that is if your lucky... 
ive had this happen to me before. i didnt realize what it was until i took the aircleaner off in the prosess of pulling the engine for a rebuild! lol
