Whoever David (vwtattooed) picks as the show photographer will get priority seating in the plane. I'm not opposed to giving extra rides if I have some time.

I think your missing my point......really do not care about the $20, the point I am trying to make is this, if you promote a FREE SWAPMEET your going to get people that would not normally go to the show, maybe they just want to clear out their garage or clean it up a bit. lots of these people do not want to pay $20, then drag their parts to the show, sit there and sell them. However, I have seen this work at a couple diff shows, and you would not believe the positive feedback from it on both sides, buyer and seller..... fair or not fair to new parts vendors and people like me that travel all over the country to buy/sell/trade we will still be there. I am speaking for the person that was into vw's 20 years ago, but still has some things lying around in the attic, or garage that would like to get rid of the stuff......Do you understand my point now???? C

yes...i understood your point before, and i have no objection to someone bringing a FEW parts and sitting in front of their car to get rid of them. with that being said...if we walk by and you got a table and tent and a butt-load of stuff for sale, you can pony up the $20!! thanks, that is all. thanks for all the volunteeers who have offered to take pics, Drew will be our "official" photographer, and Dave of DTM Engineering will also be taking pics,but i encourage everyone to take pics. we may miss something cool and could use your photos, HVW's just requires they be high resolution to be used in the mag.

My new '67 came without a key. If I brought a door handle, think they could make a key for it?

no host hotel, i had several request in ...but the "language" barrier was hard to break! the Holiday Inn on exit 218 was the most helpful i dealt with and has plenty of rooms with good eyesight of the parking lot.

we may try to setup mostly in the shade this year to help with the heat, gotta look at the location. just to remind everyone...we will have food available this year, can drinks, sweet tea and ice cold water.

Dick's sporting goods has 10x10 shade canopies on sale for $60. Just picked one up today and will bring it provided I figure out how to stuff it in the 57.
